Our new Kick Start Café trailer made a brief cameo appearance serving up coffees at the Sydney Street Choir Corporate Challenge in Martin Place, Sydney.
We have been working hard to develop our new mobile project, and it was great to launch at such an uplifting event, supporting the choir challenge participants and interested on-lookers alike.
The weather was cold and windy, but that didn’t stop people from getting involved and singing their hearts out alongside the Sydney Street Choir. Over 150 staff from PAYCE, AMP, APA, Colin Biggers and Paisley, Macquarie Group, Minter Ellison, PwC and Virgin Australia participated in the challenge.
The event raised $40,000 which will go towards employing a social worker who will assist the Sydney Street Choir members.
We look forward to our involvement in future events to support worthwhile initiatives and showcase the skills of our trainees.
